  Amazing experience!
This was an excellent experience and well worth the money. We were a bit sceptical at first as the price was a bit high, but after the snorkeling experience and seeing the coral reef at Kisite marine park, it all made sense. The guides were very friendly and funny, and knowledgeable about the sea wildlife. For lunch they took us to an incredible restaurant on Wasini island where we had crabs and fish for lunch, done to a very high standard in traditional swahili fashion. We highly recommend this activity, we would just suggest to people booking it to check the weather forecast before booking, to make sure the sea is not too choppy for their liking!

  Wonderful family time
The trip was fantastic. Went with family some of whom were in Diani / Wasini for the first time and they enjoyed it. We saw dolphins briefly but the star of the trip was the snorkelling experience. The underwater world was so beautiful! We also enjoyed the friendly service all through and the light breakfast and sumptuous lunch. Would definitely recommend!

  Dont go
The guides was OK. We didn't actually swim with the dolphins as mentioned. The dolphin came out the water and we saw them. The lunch was disgusting and was cold. The rice looked like rice pudding, you had to pay additional for the drinks. The chipati was already cut into small pieces before serving and it was also cold. I asked for vegarian meal. I was presented with 2 slice of melon and colsaw. Ridiculous. Dont let me start about the toilet if you can call it that. You also have to go into the water to get ashore as the boat cannot take you. Some little boats came to meet us, but we still had to get out and walk on hard stones to get to lunch. Cats everywhere

  Extremely amazing excursion we had
The dolphin tour was so amazing. Boat ride was nice snorkeling was great and lunch was very delicious. We spotted dolphin in lower mpunguti. Helpful and friendly staffs there,see you again soon.

  I felt like I was in the undersea discovery channels. If you havent done snorkeling in life, youre missing out!!
The views were amazing and the tour guide was so good and patient with us. The sea food lunch was amazing, we have never done snorkeling, but Katana the tour guide taught us and the views under water could not let us leave the water. I highly recommend this company, so organized and professional staff. I give 10/10 rating.

  Nice food and saw dolphins and guides were really flexible on our wishes at snorkeling
In general it was very well organise.Unfortunately the tour was delayed due to traffic in Mombasa. But we were informed about 20 minutes before our pickup via WhatsApp. The car was nice and the group was small and private so we could ask a lot of questions and get a lot of information. Unfortunately the small boat was very loud so we couldnt hear everything the Guide in front of us was talking about. We drove approximately 1 h to the station where we waited about 20mins to start the tour by boat. All in all it was well organised and we had very short waiting periods.In total we had 3 guides- One guide welcomed us at the registration and guided us through the hole day. The other 2 guides welcomed us at the small dhow and were looking out for the dolphins and served us a little breakfast at the boat (the tea was very delicious). They did a great job at finding some groups of dolphins. After 10 minutes of dolphin watching we were heading to the beach where we snorkeled. But the equipment was not good because every time I was going under water the goggles filled with water and had to be removed and put on again. The guides asked us how long we would like to snorkel, that was nice. The riffes and place were beautiful. After approx 1.5 hr we had to go further to the paradise location where we had lunch that contained sea food, rice and some seaweed. It was the best food we had during our holiday and the view was terrific and absolutly magnificent. After the lunch we had a quick walk. One guide showed us his village and one school and explained how they turn to nature for help. It was interesting but the 25 minute walk was very exausting. In general it very short as if they tried to fill the time. Afterwards we headed to our last and most unnecassary activitiy: seeing the slave caves. It was a very short introduction of history. We were feeling like it was just added to the whole experience to make it seem longer. Instead we would have loved if the snorkeling part was longer. But what was really not okay: the guides were really unappreciative after we gave them a small tip and didnt even get a thank you - it shouldnt matter how much the tip was. We were not very welcomed nor did we get any attention after that. The guides just give us a quick goodbye. After all we would recommend it really much. And a general recommadation for the company: cancel the last activity and instead get some better snorkel equipment, maybe some fins. Than it would be 5 Stars in our opinion. Thank you very much.Some recommendation for other tourists that book here:-wear long clothes even in the water-put on a lot of sunscreen-there are really A LOT of kids in the village, if you think of bringing them something

  Great choice for Dhow trip to Kisite and Wasini
We had a great day trip from Diani with these guys to the Kisite National park for excellent snorkelling on the reef there + Wasini island for lunch and bush/village walk afterwards. They are one of the smaller operators, but the trip is all the better do that (eg you can snorkel for as long as you like (within reason) and won’t feel rushed. Also slightly cheaper than the larger operators that seemed to cram large numbers of people on their boats. The crew were all really fun and worked hard to keep us well looked after and entertained. Lunch was excellent (fresh crab starter then king fish and rice + salad, yummy!). Overall Highly recommended!

  Best sea safari
If you are looking for a sea safari, you must go with them! Katana and his team are the best! They offer you a day full of discovery with: snorkeling, dolphins, a visit to wasini island with its village and mangrove, a typical swaili breakfast and lunch and a visit to the slave cave.   An amazing Experience for the Family at Wasini
As a frequent traveller and tour operator based in East Africa, this is one excursions I took cautiously based on what I had read regarding previous experiences in Wasini.We were able to connect with Pauline of Kisite Discovery thanks to the hotel Manager. The pick up was flawless as we also had small children in tow and not too sure how the day would turn out. We picked an extra couple and we drove out to Wasini. Upon arrival at Wasini we were received by our resident guide Katana and there started out day excursion of Wasini Island. We were given a private Boat for the 8 of us and you wouldn't fail to notice other boats were crammed to capacity. On board the show, we had breakfast and refreshments .We experienced the Dolphins and shortly has an amazing experience at Waisini Snorkelling though the majority in our group were armature swimmers. Katana our guide and his team split the group and made sure the children and adults experience deep sea Snorkelling...very patient with us and made sure we had the best experience at the island. We couldn't fail to notice we were the last dhow out of the island. Overall this is one experience we will live to remember and definitely look to experience again.It's was a great experience and thanks to Pauline, Katana and the guys at Wasini.
